This is the one page of my website where things are allowed to be chaotic.

You’ve been warned 🤪

Before I step into your story, let me share a bit of mine.

Because everything I’ve walked through shows up in the way I see you and in the way I hold space for your beginning.

There and back again: a photographer’s tale

I grew up roaming in the truest sense - never settled, always moving. I was born abroad and lived in 16 different places across two continents by the time I was 18. No matter where I lived, you’d be most likely to find me barefoot in the nearest creek.

My truest, most beautiful dreams were born from three moments:

ONE: In one of my many lives as a kid, I I got to live in the desert. At six years old, watching a blood red moon hoist herself up over the Mojave, I decided I never wanted to live anywhere else.

I want a house in the desert!

TWO: I first picked up a camera in the eighth grade. I would spend the next two decades pretending I wanted to do anything else.

THREE: Somewhere between 37 straight days backpacking in Utah (and not wanting to exit, even at the end), working a summer in Yosemite, and living out of a van on the Sierra East side I decided I felt most free when I’m connecting with people outside.

Straight out of the digital scrapbook…

And then! A friend asked me to photograph her wedding in Yosemite in 2014…

You may be wondering, did you do it? Did you become a photographer then? All of this points to you becoming an adventure photographer…
