It’s me! Your photographer, guide, and fellow believer in love that endures the storm and still reaches for the light. I build elopement experiences as thresholds: spaces where what’s real has room to breathe.

I care about this work because I’ve lived what it means to rebuild a life from the ground up, to keep choosing wonder when the world tries to make you small. That’s why your story speaks to me so deeply. Choosing each other was the easy part. What I admire so much is the brave part: you’ve chosen hope, again and again, even when it wasn’t easy.

What I bring to your day is more than a plan, it’s more than an eye for art, it’s more than the experience to move with ease through shifting terrain and weather. The true soul of what I bring is presence grown from the years I spent learning how to hold stories tenderly. From there, I translate feeling into experiences and imagery that feels alive. I know how to create calm in wildness, how to guide you when the wind picks up or the plan shifts, and how to recognize the quiet moments that matter most.

Why me, when there are so many incredible photographers out there?

Because at the end of the day, what matters most isn’t the photos themselves… it’s how fully you feel seen, held, and understood within them, and throughout the entire process that brought you to the destination. Truly, I do not show up just to plan, and take photos. I show up to hold space, to witness, and THAT is what allows me to harmonize what I see into art you get to keep forever.

At the end of the day, you two deserve someone who sees the whole story. Someone who knows how to hold space for love that’s weathered storms and still wakes up reaching for hope, and for wonder.

  • A signed contract and retainer officially reserve your dates! From there, I officially become your creative co-conspirator and guide and the fun can really begin 🚀✨

  • Before we dive into logistics, we pause to look ahead — not just to the day itself, but twenty years from now. What’s going to matter most about this experience? How do you want to remember it, and what will it stand for in the story of your life together?

    This is where we center your values, your pace, and what feels true. Everything we plan — the timeline, the landscape, the rituals — grows out of that foundation, so your elopement isn’t just beautiful now, it’s meaningful for decades to come.

  • This is where intention and understanding meets logistics. I help you shape the flow of your elopement day (or days) so they reflects your values and energy. I’m guided by your values, what I understand brings you calm, what sparks your joy, what grounds you. We’ll talk about rituals, timing, and how to build natural pauses for connection. You’ll get personalized location suggestions, lodging ideas, and travel and permit guidance. Every piece is chosen for meaning, not just aesthetics.

    You’ve got unlimited access to me during this time and I welcome any and all communication - including but not limited to: dad jokes, dog pics, hey-we’re-in-town-wanna-grab-a-beer, i’m feeling things, check out this poem I wrote, etc. etc. etc.


THE LOGSTICS

  • At intervals leading up to our departure, I’ll run you through checklists, send packing lists, and make sure we’re all feeling good and ready to go with our plan.

  • I guide you through the process of everything you need to make your marriage legal 🥰

  • Your trip unfolds with adventure and togetherness and basking in the feeling of belonging deeply to one another and living your life beyond your wildest dreams, together.

    This is where everything we’ve shaped together takes form. I’ll be there to guide when you need direction and to disappear when you need space. My approach is grounded, intuitive, and emotionally attuned. I’ll document what it all felt like, not just what it looked like. Whether you’re hiking through mist, slow dancing by a lake, or sharing vows under rain, I’ll make sure you feel safe, seen, and free to just be as you say your vows to the love of your life.

About Desert Weather

Winter in the desert has its own kind of magic. The light is softer, the air is clear, and the landscapes feel wide open and alive. While most places are cold and gray in December, the deserts of the Southwest are warm enough to wander, golden in the afternoons, and cool and quiet at night. It’s the season when the crowds fade and the stillness returns — when you can hear the wind move through the cacti, watch the stars without a sound, and feel like the whole world has slowed down just for you.

These five places — Joshua Tree, Saguaro, Organ Pipe, Big Bend, and Valley of Fire — each hold a different kind of beauty, but they share the same spirit: warmth, ease, and room to breathe.

(If you’re deeply down for guaranteed layering up and something chillier, we can still talk Moab or Sedona.)

Joshua Tree National Park, California

Joshua Tree in December feels like stepping into stillness… warm enough for golden light and barefoot moments, cool enough to move slow and linger. The winter air is crisp and clear, and the park’s sculptural rocks and twisted yuccas glow in the low sun. Around the park, you’ll find some of the most unique and design-forward desert lodgings anywhere in the country. Cozy cabins, mid-century homesteads, and starlit hot tubs that make the whole trip feel like a retreat. It’s easy to find solitude here, to wander hand in hand through landscapes that feel both grounded and otherworldly. As night falls, the sky opens wide for stargazing, and the desert feels infinite — a place to celebrate love that’s wild, creative, and entirely your own.

Saguaro National Park, Arizona

Warm days, cool nights, and the quiet kind of beauty that makes everything feel slowed down. The crowds are gone, the desert light is soft and golden, and the saguaros stand like witnesses to your vows. You can spend the afternoon wandering through cactus-studded trails, share sunset among the red rocks, and end the night beneath one of the clearest winter skies in the country — stargazing wrapped in blankets, surrounded by silence and stars.

Big Bend / Terlingua

Big Bend feels like the edge of the world in the best way. In December, the desert is warm by day and cool at night, with golden light that moves slowly across canyons and mesas. The scale of it all — the silence, the stars, the wide-open sky — makes everything else fall away. You can trade vows among the cliffs of Santa Elena Canyon, wander the Chisos Basin at sunset, and end the night under one of the darkest skies in North America. Around nearby Terlingua and Marathon, adobe casitas and desert lodges offer warmth, texture, and quiet — the kind of places that make you want to slow down, sink in, and stay awhile.

Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Arizona

Down near the Mexican border, Organ Pipe feels like the wild heart of the Sonoran Desert. In December, the air is warm and still, and the mountains glow pink at dusk. It’s quieter than Saguaro, more remote, and full of otherworldly beauty — forests of organ pipe and saguaro cacti rising like cathedrals from the desert floor. The stargazing here is unreal, with some of the darkest skies in the country. Stay in a rustic adobe inn or a modern desert casita near Ajo, and let the trip feel slow, intentional, and a little bit off the map.

Valley of Fire, Nevada

Valley of Fire is pure desert drama — red sandstone waves, honeycomb cliffs, and ancient petroglyphs glowing in the soft winter light. December brings perfect weather for exploring: sunny, quiet, and gentle enough to wander all day. It’s close enough to Las Vegas for easy travel but feels like another planet entirely. You can end the day among the rocks, watching the colors fade from gold to deep rose before the stars rise overhead. Nearby, desert-modern Airbnbs and boutique lodges offer the perfect place to unwind — all warmth, stillness, and space to breathe.
